Turner Sixth Form provides a vibrant, encouraging and welcoming environment. We are built on the foundations of the successful Folkestone Academy Sixth Form and have proven experience in delivering high quality provision and extensive enrichment opportunities. In their recent inspection report, Ofsted recognised the strength of our current provision, stating that ‘students in the sixth form are supported in achieving increasingly high outcomes through the high-quality care and guidance they receive from staff’ (Ofsted, 2022).
Our fantastic campus combines three sites, Dover (Dover Christ Church Academy) Broadmead (Folkestone Academy) and Surrenden (Turner Free School), providing state-of-the-art facilities including a recording studio, sports centres, bespoke engineering rooms, specialist art studios and a lecture theatre.
Students studying at our Dover campus can study BTEC Sport, Health and Social Care and Applied Business. We also offer extra study as an EPQ and catering. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a range of fulfilling extra-curricular activities including our highly successful sporting academies, student ambassador programme, sports leaders, internships and student leadership roles.
Students wanting to study A levels and other vocational qualifications are welcome to look at our T6 Folkestone sites.
