Year 9 Options

English, Mathematics, Science, Physical Education and PSHE are compulsory and pupils will continue to study them until the end of Year 11.  Pupils will then select 4 option subjects - please click on the booklet link above.

Pupils will be selecting their option subjects via a Google Form. A link will be sent to  school email address and you can complete this at any time but you should not rush this. You will need to spend time reading the information in this booklet and discussing with your teachers before making any final decisions. You may want to submit the form with your family so as not to be influenced by what your friends want to study. This will ensure the choices are right for you.

Guidance on the choice of subjects from the options has already started. Assemblies have been delivered to allow pupils to make informed choices. Subject teachers will also give help and advice in their lessons and pupils are encouraged to make contact with the teachers of new subjects on offer if they require extra information. Older pupils can also be a source of useful information.
